To make matters worse, Yugande seems to have a personal vendetta against the Megaranger, particularly Kenta Date, the Red Megaranger. As the two engage in battle, Yugande reveals that he was once a member of the Space Intelligence Bureau, just like Kenta's father. However, he was kicked out after his reckless actions caused innocent lives to be lost, leaving him bitter and vengeful.

With Yugande's power only continuing to grow, the Megaranger must find a way to stop him before he causes any more destruction. They team up with their ally, Dr. Hinelar, to create a new attack that they hope will be powerful enough to defeat Yugande. But as the battle rages on, it becomes clear that they must also appeal to Yugande's humanity if they hope to save him from his own darkness.

In the end, the Megaranger are able to prove to Yugande that there is still hope for him, and he decides to join forces with them to take on the true threat: Neziregia's final plan.
