Despite the seemingly endless waves of attacks from their enemies, Super GUTS is dedicated to protecting Earth at all costs. Each member of the team is highly trained and skilled in their respective areas, from piloting spacecraft to utilizing advanced weaponry. In addition to Captain Asuka, some of the other members of the team include physicist Ryo Yumimura, mechanic Mika Mikura, and communications officer Shin Asuka.

One of the defining features of Ultraman Dyna is the use of special effects and practical effects to bring the giant monsters and battles to life. The series features a wide variety of monsters and aliens, each with their own unique design and abilities.
