Sana and Akito's relationship continues to grow as they continue to work together on their upcoming project. As they spend more time together, Akito shares with Sana some of his past experiences, including his troubled family history. Sana listens intently as Akito tells her how his father abandoned him when he was just a child, leaving him to be raised by his mother and grandmother.

As they work on their project, Sana and Akito come across a surprising piece of information: Akito's father has resurfaced and is now living in Japan. Akito is shocked and unsure of how to proceed, but Sana encourages him to reach out and try to make contact with his father.

Despite his initial reluctance, Akito decides to try and find his father. With Sana's help, he tracks down his father's current address and decides to pay him a visit. When they arrive at his father's house, they are met with a cold reception. Akito's father is defensive and angry, refusing to acknowledge his past mistakes and belittling Akito and his accomplishments.

As they leave, Akito is angry and hurt. Sana tries to comfort him, but Akito brushes her off and tells her that she doesn't understand what he's going through. As the days pass, Akito becomes increasingly distant and withdrawn. Sana is worried about him, but doesn't know how to reach him.

Meanwhile, the rest of the class is dealing with their own struggles. Tsuyoshi is still struggling with his feelings for Aya, and is torn between telling her how he feels and keeping his feelings to himself. Aya, on the other hand, is dealing with her own family issues, as her younger brother is acting out and causing trouble at home.

As the end of the school year approaches, Sana realizes that she needs to do something to help Akito. She decides to confront him and try to get him to open up to her. When she arrives at his house, she finds him in a state of emotional turmoil. He tells her that he feels like a failure and that he can never live up to his father's expectations.

Sana listens patiently as Akito pours out his heart to her. She tells him that he doesn't need his father's approval to be successful, and that he should be proud of all that he's accomplished on his own. Akito is moved by Sana's words, and he realizes that he needs to let go of his past and focus on his future.

As the episode comes to a close, Akito and Sana sit quietly together, enjoying the peace and quiet of a warm summer day. They both know that they have a long road ahead of them, but they are comforted by the knowledge that they have each other to lean on.
