Next, Paul visits De Koninck Brewery, the last remaining city brewery in Antwerp, where he learns about the brewing process and discovers how the brewery's signature beer is used to make the famous Stoemp, a traditional Belgian dish made of mashed potatoes and vegetables. With the help of the brewery's head chef, Paul makes his twist on the Stoemp by incorporating some of the iconic Belgian flavors.

On his quest to sample the city's finest bakes, Paul visits Del Rey Bakery, which has been producing bread in Antwerp for over 100 years. Here, Paul learns about the art of sourdough bread-making and observes how the bakers incorporate local ingredients such as honey and beer into their loaves.

After watching one of Françoise's masterpieces come to life, Paul is tempted to try it for himself.

Finally, Paul heads to Patisserie Lints, a renowned pastry shop with a history dating back to the early 19th century. The owner, who is a fifth-generation member of the family business, shares with Paul the shop's rich history and shows him how they make their classic buttery Belgian croissants.
