If Kids Shows Were Real 2 is the 21st episode of the first season of the hit sketch comedy series Smosh. In this episode, the Smosh cast takes a hilarious and twisted look at what would happen if some of the most beloved children's shows were brought to life in the real world.
The episode starts off with a spoof of the popular kids' show, Barney & Friends. Ian and Anthony don purple dinosaur costumes and bring the friendly T-Rex to life. However, things quickly turn sour when the group realizes that a real-life Barney is not as sweet and gentle as the one they remember from their childhoods.
Next up, the Smosh team takes on a classic Sesame Street segment, but with an adult twist. In "Counting with Cookie," Cookie Monster explains the concept of counting while snacking on some freshly baked "special" cookies, leaving Ian and Anthony in a state of pure confusion.
The third sketch parodies Dora the Explorer, introducing "Dora the Destroyer." Ian takes on the role of the young adventurer who attempts to navigate her "map" through a battlefield. However, the show takes a dark turn when they discover the "treasure" is actually a nuclear missile.
In another sketch, Ian and Anthony explore the world of Spongebob Squarepants in "Spongebob's Retirement." However, instead of the happy-go-lucky Spongebob we all know and love, the pair find a decrepit and miserable octopus who is now running the Krusty Krab.
The fifth sketch sees the Smosh team taking on the popular children's show, Teletubbies. In "Teletubbies Arrested," the group imagines what would happen if the characters were arrested for their bizarre behavior and strange tendencies.
Finally, the episode concludes with a hilarious parody of the classic preschool show, Blue's Clues. In "Black's Clues," Ian and Anthony take on the roles of the host and the animated dog, respectively. However, things quickly spiral out of control when Black starts using his "clues" to lead them down a mysterious and slightly disturbing path.
Overall, If Kids Shows Were Real 2 is a must-watch episode for fans of Smosh and anybody who grew up watching these beloved children's shows. This episode is sure to leave viewers in stitches with its twisted take on some of our favorite childhood memories.
