InFinnity is the nineteenth episode of the first season of the animated television series, Storm Hawks. The episode aired for the first time on December 8, 2007. The episode is directed by Greg Collinson, and the screenplay is written by Steven Melching. This episode is about Piper trying to save the Merbs, who are her friends, from being turned into mindless robots by Cyclonia's dark talons.
The episode begins with Finn and Stork exploring a mine that they found on Terra Merbia. In the mine, they discover a powerful crystal, which is capable of enhancing the power of anyone who possesses it. Finn takes the crystal without knowing its true power, and as they talk about their discovery with the rest of the team, they suddenly notice that the Merbs are disappearing from Terra Merbia.
Piper soon discovers that Cyclonia's dark talons are responsible for abducting the Merbs. The Merbs are taken to a Cyclonian facility, where they are being used as test subjects to create mind-control machines. These machines would turn the Merbs into obedient soldiers, who would then be used by Cyclonia to take over Terra Merbia and other nearby kingdoms.
Piper is determined to save her friends and, with the help of Aerrow and the rest of the Storm Hawks, she devises a plan to infiltrate the Cyclonian facility. Piper will pretend to be a mind-controlled Merb so that she can rescue her friends from within and also destroy the machines that Cyclonia is using.
In the first stage of the plan, Finn and Aerrow get themselves captured by Cyclonia's soldiers. They are brought into the facility where they come face-to-face with Master Cyclonis, who is supervising the operation. Master Cyclonis is impressed by Finn's crystal, which can enhance her own powers. She orders Finn to reveal the location of the crystal, but he resists and is taken away for interrogation.
The second stage of the plan involves Piper posing as a mind-controlled Merb. She is brought into the facility and is shocked to see her friends in the state of mindlessness. With the help of an unexpected ally, Piper manages to free the Merbs and sabotage the machines.
Meanwhile, Stork and Junko have their hands full trying to fend off the Cyclonian soldiers who patrol the facility. They engage in a fierce battle, and Junko is severely injured. Stork eventually manages to disable the surveillance system of the entire facility but is captured in the process.
In the final part of the plan, Piper, Finn, and Aerrow join forces to fight against Master Cyclonis and her forces. They manage to defeat them but are unable to retrieve the crystal. Piper, however, tricks Master Cyclonis into thinking that Finn has given her the crystal in exchange for his freedom. She then uses the crystal's power to activate a secret weapon that destroys the facility, and the team escapes unharmed.
Back on Terra Merbia, the Merbs are reunited with their families, and Piper finally gets her hands on the crystal, which Finn had picked up. She destroys it, knowing that it was too dangerous to exist. The episode ends with the Storm Hawks soaring into the sunset, having saved the day once again.
InFinnity is an action-packed episode that highlights the bravery of Piper and her loyalty to her friends. The episode also features strong teamwork by the Storm Hawks, who band together to save the Merbs from Cyclonia's hands. With its engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and vibrant animation, this episode is a must-watch for fans of the series.
