Dr. Campbell and the staff work frantically to save their dying patient. Avery informs Pete, Sofia, and Riley of Jack's condition. Jack relives the time Karen interrupted his forbidden rendezvous and dropped a bombshell. Jack then remembers when Sofia came into his life, but Karen taints his memories with those of infidelity. Sara calls Pete and gets comforting news. Jack has an epiphany.
