Pouty James is an episode from the twentieth season of Thomas & Friends, which follows the adventures of Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends on the Island of Sodor.

In this episode, James the Red Engine is feeling left out and grumpy because he thinks that everyone is too busy to spend time with him. He pouts and sulks, making everyone else on the railway annoyed and frustrated with his attitude.

As James sulks around the railway, he sees that everyone else is busy with their own jobs and responsibilities. Thomas is delivering important goods, Percy is shunting freight cars, and Emily is helping passengers. James starts to feel like nobody needs him or appreciates his work.

Meanwhile, the engines start to notice that James is acting strangely and being difficult. They try to include him in their jobs and offer to help him with his work, but he stubbornly refuses their offers and continues to mope around.

As the day goes on, James starts to realize that he was being silly and that his friends do need him and appreciate his hard work. He apologizes to the other engines and they forgive him, and they all work together to finish their jobs for the day.

At the end of the episode, James is happy and grateful to be part of the team again. He realizes that his friends care about him and that he can always count on them for help and support.

Pouty James is a heartwarming episode that teaches children about the importance of friendship, working together, and being grateful for what we have. It also shows that sometimes we all feel left out or unappreciated, but that it's important to communicate our feelings with others and work through our problems together.
