It's Christmas in Australia, and Thomas is disappointed to find that as Christmas is in the summer not winter in Australia, there will be no snow. Feeling despondent that Christmas will be different to usual, Thomas pulls his passenger train where he meets a little girl who has received a kangaroo toy from Santa.
