What We Do in the Shadows is a mockumentary-style comedy that follows a group of vampires living together in a house in Staten Island. Each episode focuses on their various misadventures and struggles to adjust to modern life.
In episode 5, titled "Animal Control," the vampires are faced with a new challenge: a group of animal control officers who are determined to catch a mysterious creature that has been terrorizing the town.

Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja are immediately suspicious of the officers and assume that they are after them. However, it soon becomes clear that the animal in question is not a vampire, but a werewolf that lives in the area.
The vampires are initially hesitant to get involved, but they are eventually dragged into the situation when they discover that the werewolf is none other than their familiar, Guillermo. Guillermo had been bitten by a werewolf during one of his errands for the vampires and has been struggling to control his transformation ever since.
The vampires are torn between their loyalty to Guillermo and their fear of being caught by the animal control officers. They come up with a plan to help Guillermo escape, but things quickly go awry when the officers discover their involvement.
As always, the episode is full of hilarious moments, including a scene where Laszlo tries to seduce one of the animal control officers while disguised as a dog. The episode also delves deeper into Guillermo's character, exploring his conflicted feelings about serving the vampires and his desire to be recognized for his contributions.
Overall, "Animal Control" is another entertaining and absurd installment in the series that showcases the show's strong writing and talented cast.
