Ep 3. Episode 3

  • March 16, 2018

In episode 3 of Wild Wild Country, tensions continue to rise between the Rajneeshees and the citizens of Antelope, Oregon. The episode opens with footage of a community meeting where Antelope residents express their frustration with the growing presence of the Rajneeshees. Some residents claim that the Rajneeshees are trying to take over the town, while others fear for their safety. One resident even compares the situation to the Jonestown massacre.

The Rajneeshees, meanwhile, are ramping up their efforts to build their commune in Antelope. They are importing more and more members from around the world, and they are building new structures on their property. The leadership of the Rajneeshees is also becoming more aggressive. In one scene, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh himself says that his followers should not be afraid to use violence if necessary.

The tension between the two groups comes to a head when a group of Antelope residents decides to take matters into their own hands. They secretly organize a group of vigilantes, armed with guns, and set out to destroy the Rajneeshees' property. The Rajneeshees are caught off guard, but they quickly mobilize their own armed guards and confront the vigilantes in a tense standoff. As the two groups face off, it becomes clear that violence could break out at any moment.

As the situation in Antelope spirals out of control, local law enforcement officials begin to take notice. One officer is sent to investigate the Rajneeshees and their activities, but he finds himself outnumbered and outmaneuvered by the cult's leadership. He is eventually forced to retreat, but he vows to return with more backup if the situation gets any worse.

The episode also delves into the personal lives of some of the Rajneeshees. We learn more about Sheela, the cult's second-in-command, and her complicated relationship with Bhagwan. We see her struggle to balance her loyalty to Bhagwan with her own desires for power and control. We also meet other members of the cult, including a young mother who is raising her child in the commune and a man who gave up his successful career to join the Rajneeshees.

Overall, episode 3 of Wild Wild Country is a tense, compelling look at a community on the brink of violence. As the Rajneeshees and the residents of Antelope grow more and more agitated, it's unclear what the future holds for either group. Will violence break out, or will cooler heads prevail? Only time will tell.
