Twelve French students appear in this documentary that sees the expedition move through Equitorial Africa and explore the jungle and meet a variety of tribes and people who live in the area. The danger of the trip is on show as the students are accompanied by a crew made up of local people, one of whom meets his death during the expedition. Along the way the students meet a tribe of pygmy people and take part in a series of rituals and dances.
