Watch Dita and the Family Business

Dita and the Family Business tells the story of the large Bergdorf Goodman department stores and how they originated. Specifically, this documentary explores the matriarch of the family, and all her eccentric choices and decisions that led to the creation of the stores and their operation. This film explores the life of Dita, and the role she played in the entire extended family, but more importantly within the business that made this family. The film does a great job at examining how the current culture, economy and society helped to for the business and its response to the tumultuous time that it was formed.
