Elves is a 1989 horror movie directed by Jeffrey Mandel and starring Dan Haggerty, Julie Austin, and Deanna Lund. The movie follows Kirsten, a teenage girl who uncovers a diabolical plot involving a group of Nazis attempting to breed an army of elves to help them world domination. The movie opens with a group of teenagers performing a pagan ritual in the woods, hoping to summon an elven spirit to grant their wishes. But instead of the benevolent elf they hoped for, they accidentally summon a demonic creature that kills one of their group before disappearing into the night.

The story then shifts to Kirsten, who is struggling to deal with her dysfunctional family and a creepy stepfather who may have molested her when she was younger. One night, she decides to steal the family's Ouija board to contact her deceased mother and accidentally summons the same demonic creature the teenagers did earlier.

Meanwhile, a group of Nazis, led by a creepy old man named Grizzly, are conducting experiments to create a new master race of elves to help them take over the world. They need a virgin to sacrifice to complete their experiment, and they have their sights set on Kirsten.

Kirsten teams up with a local detective named Mike (played by Dan Haggerty) to uncover the truth behind the mysterious deaths and strange occurrences in their small town. With the help of Mike's former flame, a journalist named Kirsten, they discover the shocking truth about Grizzly's plans and the true nature of the demonic creature that has been terrorizing the town.

The movie features plenty of gore, nudity, and cheesy 80s special effects, making it a fun and entertaining ride for horror fans. The acting is not exactly Oscar-worthy, but it's serviceable enough for a low-budget horror movie.

Overall, Elves is a fun, if somewhat ridiculous, horror movie that delivers plenty of thrills and chills. It's not going to win any awards for originality or storytelling, but if you're a fan of 80s horror cheese, you'll definitely want to check this one out.
