The plot of this story is centered on a man who has lost all hope in his life called Joe Cross. Joe is a morbidly obese man who weighs 345lbs, and is one French fry away from a suffering from coronary blockage. And on top of that, Joe suffers from an extremely rare genetic disorder that puts his life at risk. As a result of his illness, Joe must live on various types of pills and steroids and he must watch what he eats, yet he had a difficult time controlling his eating habits. But one day, Joe realizes that he is one step closer in his own grave. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, Joe realized that it's up to him to save himself from death because the conventional medicines don't work or won't help make the condition better, and the doctors don't help either. To change his health, Joe decides to go under a complete and total lifestyle change; no more junk food, and he will consume only vegetable and fruit juices for full 60 days. In addition, Joe decides to go on an expansive 3,000 mile road trip to help him regain his health; banishing any other food that isn't fruit or vegetable juice from his new juicer. Joe packs his things including his juicer and heads for the road; the hope of a better life in tow. On one of his stops, he meets a man who also suffers from the same condition as him, and he is even more overweight than Joe, weighing in at 445 lbs. His name is Philip and, he too, one burger away from a heart attack. This story is the perfect movie to watch in order to lift your spirits because it is a truly inspiring.
