Showtime to Air 'Twilight Saga: Eclipse' Before 'Weeds' and 'The Big C' Kick Off Tonight

What's one sure fire way to boost viewership for a TV show premiere? Air "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" before it of course!

Leave it to pay cable channel Showtime to premiere one of the most popular films of the decade before new episodes of "Weeds" and "The Big C" premiere tonight. The network was the first to premiere "Twilight" and "New Moon" on cable.

"Weeds" returns for its seventh season and the storyline picks up 3 years after Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) was taken into custody for murder. Now, upon her release from prison, Botwin will take her family to New York City to start anew.

"The Big C," starring Laura Linney, is another dark comedy from Showtime. The series returns tonight for its second season, and viewers will see Linney's character, Cathy Jamison, fighting for her life.

Tonight will be the pay cable debut of the vampire flick "Eclipse" and Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner hit the tube at 8pm EST/PST.
