For many, many years the residents of the United States have enjoyed eating the freshest of seafood that was caught right off it's coasts. Wild salmon has been sought after and fished off the coast of the state of Alaska for the longest time, and the product caught yielded a satisfactory taste unlike any other salmon. The film follows a group of salmon fisherman aboard their vessel, The Viking Maid, as they struggle against the extreme forces of mother nature, and the relentless competition of the salmon fishing world. Despite salmon being bought at record numbers, the hefty competition makes life near miserable for some fisherman.
