Watch The Wall

The Wall is a live action and animation film created by the experimental rock band, Pink Floyd. All the live action scenes (which comprise the majority of the film) are directed by Alan Parker whilst all the animated scenes were directed by Gerald Scarfe. The plot of the film revolves around Pink, a rocker with great aspirations but lives a depressed and sorrowful life. This melancholy is so extreme that Pink seems on the verge of committing suicide. The reason for his sorrowful state are slowly revealed through the use, primarily, of sound (mainly the music of Pink Floyd), metaphorical imagery and flashbacks.
