The rock band The Who were undeniably one of the most prolific bands to come out of the musical " British invasion " of the 1960's. In 1973 they released their rock opera " Quadrophenia " which was intended to be a semiautobiographical story of Guitar player Pete Townshend's days growing up as a " Mod " in 1960's England. It was a masterpiece, but entirely misunderstood. The documentary The Who, The Mod, and the Quadrophenia is intended to rectify all that. Complete with interviews with Townshend, and other icons of the day, vintage footage of the band performing, and rare footage of " the mod years ", this is no doubt one for any lover of The Who.

The Who, The Mods, and the Quadrophenia doesn't appear to be available from any streaming services.
