Watch Transcaucasus: Georgia, Armenia, & Azerbaijan

At the base of the Caucasus Mountains, settled between the Caspian and Black seas, lies a trio of nations torn by cultural conflicts, and religious uprisings. Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia have been the sight of holocausts, famines and natural disasters. The diverse cultures within however, retain their identities no matter the conflict. This humble region is now a key area in the fight between superpowers, but the people's main wish is to keep their histories in-tact. The Caucasus region has, for centuries, been the unfortunate battleground of warring empires, but the people who live there are undaunted.
