Oaxacan artist Alejandro Santiago was born in the village Pueblo. This village is like many across the world. The parents and working age individuals were scattered around the country looking for work to support their family. Santiago was raised by his grandparents. Throughout the years of struggle, Santiago began a tribute to the working parents of villages like his. This tribute took six years to complete. It is 2,501 life size sculptures to honor the parents of every village. This documentary will highlight the emotional journey Santiago experience to complete his masterpiece.
