Watch Winter Nomads

This film is a documentary about two Swiss shepherds named Carole and Pascal. They must transport hundreds of sheep across the rugged landscape and endure freezing cold weather. The astonishing thing about the journey is the fact that they brave the elements and sleep outside each night with nothing more than some sheep skins and a tarp. The film highlights the beautiful landscape and the way progression has endangered this way of life. The shepherds are very resilient and during their journey they must improvise to keep the sheep alive. They also encounter old friends, farmers, and many other surprises along the way.
