Watch Yesterday Girl

This film tells the story of a little girl who has grown up in the communist country of East Germany. In her country, any form of life close to resembling Western lifestyle is strictly forbidden, and the lives of those living there are far more grim than their counterparts in West Germany. Anita is bright-eyed girl who has no desire to live in a society that operates by a strict, no-fun rule. Her desire to live in a country free from oppression has led her to hop the border into West Germany. This is a move that could easily land her in jail or possibly worse.
