Young Triffle is a dark comedy. It is based on a play called Young Triffle's Been Made Away With by Ray Guy. The movie is set before Newfoundland's joining of the Confederation. It follows a soldier who is clumsy and awkward. The man is asked to investigate why sheep in Swyer's Harbour have been mutilated and sexually assaulted.
