Emmys: Joel McHale, LL Cool J and Others to Sing 'Glee'-Style at the Show

Emmys: Joel McHale, LL Cool J and Others to Sing 'Glee'-Style at the Show It seems that Jane Lynch is bringing a bit of "Glee" to the Emmys...but not with the "Glee" cast.

Lynch and producer Mark Burnett have a little something special planned to introduce some of the categories this year: their very own a capella group. The group, which has been named the Emmingtons, has some surprising names in it as well.

Joel McHale (Community), LL Cool J ("NCIS: Los Angeles"), Zachary Levi ("Chuck"), Taraji P. Henson ("Person of Interest"), Wilmer Valderrama ("Awake"), Kate Flannery ("The Office") and Cobie Smulders ("How I Met Your Mother") will all be members of the Emmingtons and will presumably be singing some a capella numbers to introduce certain elements of the show.

That's a pretty odd assortment of actors...many of them call NBC home, so it makes sense that they would be there. But "Person of Interest" and "HIMYM" are CBS shows, so what are they doing there? Maybe Cobie and Taraji are just strong singers and the others needed a bit of help.

In any case, it'll be interesting to see how this eclectic (and mostly comedic) group of TV actors add to the show as the Emmingtons.
