In the horror movie 13 Eerie released in 2013, six forensic students taking part in a mock crime scene at a deserted island are forced to contend with terror that quickly becomes all too real. The film opens with a convoy of vehicles traversing a desolate terrain. A group of six students makes up the convoy. They are Olivia (Katharine Isabelle), Megan (Brendan Fletcher), Josh (Brendan Fehr), Daniel (Jesse Moss), Rob (Michael Eisner), and Kate (Kristie Patterson). The six of them are forensic students, who have arrived in the area for a mock crime scene that they think is a test.

Unknown to them, the island has become host to a government-run project that involves re-animating corpses, and for some reason or another, the project has gone wrong. The six students quickly find themselves the prey while the project's subjects are let out of their cages to hunt down the students.

The first few scenes of the movie showcase the students, their personalities, and their relationships. The group is a mix of personalities - Josh, the jock; Megan, the tomboy; Rob, the clean-cut guy who's into fitness; Olivia, an intelligent girl who is wary of the experiment; Kate, a former beauty queen; and Daniel, a quiet fellow who seems to keep to himself.

As they prepare to spend the night on the island, they begin analyzing the crime scene they've been given to work on. The scene is a simulation of a murder, and they have to find the evidence proving that it was a homicide, however, things quickly turn south when they begin to realize that they are not alone on the island.

As it turns out, the island is home to a failed government experiment, and the students soon find out that the corpses are re-animated and hungry for human flesh. The six students must band together to try and survive the night and find a way off the island alive.

The group has to contend with gruesome zombies that are not only relentless but also intelligent. The zombies are fast, strong, and display advanced problem-solving skills, which makes them challenging to deal with. The students realize that they have to use their forensic knowledge to stay ahead of the zombies and figure out how to stop them.

Throughout the film, the tension is consistently high as the students try to navigate their way through the island while avoiding the zombies. The cinematography is well done, with the dark and grimy visuals creating an atmosphere that keeps viewers on edge.

The cast's performances are also commendable, with Katharine Isabelle being the standout as Olivia. She does an excellent job of being both strong and vulnerable, and she is the one character that viewers will root for the most. Brendan Fletcher also does a good job as Megan, and Brendan Fehr provides some light moments as Josh.

The soundtrack is also well done, with eerie music that fits the tone of the film. The sound effects are also well done and help to contribute to the horror and suspense.

Ultimately, 13 Eerie is a film that will leave viewers on edge. The zombies are terrifying, and the students' situation seems hopeless, but the film manages to be both scary and entertaining. The film's climax will leave viewers satisfied and invested in the characters' outcomes.

Overall, 13 Eerie is a great horror movie that delivers on its promises. It has a great cast, an interesting premise, and excellent cinematography, and is definitely worth a watch for fans of the genre.
