A Day with My Son is about a South Korean man who is serving a life sentence for murder and robbery. When one day his wish comes true and he is granted one day to visit with his family. This man is so excited and there is so much to say to his son, who is 18 now. However, the son only sees a stranger, a criminal at best, not the father he has. The father’s feelings for his son gradually open his son’s heart. They hang out together all night, as they must part ways in the morning, when the father must return to prison.
