A Horse Called Nijinski is a documentary based on the life of a special colt named after a Russian ballet dancer who often talked about being reincarnated as a horse. Son of Northern Dancer and Flaming Page, the colt was difficult to train and unruly at first, but later became a horse that was a pleasure to race when he was with the right people. The film introduces and documents the horse’s life and races during the first three years of his life up to 1970.
