This fascinating documentary takes a look into the life of one of the most inspirational and influential men in the history of British music. Joe Meek was a record producer in the late 1950's and early 1960's. He was world renowned for his sensational music production techniques which provided for a sound that was truly ages ahead of it's time. In addition to his pioneering status, Meek was also known for having quite the unpredictable, and at times violent demeanor. After his fame seemed to wane in the later stages of his career, Meek went trough a stage of depression, paranoia, and a mind blowing debt. All these factors are believed to have led Meek to commit the murder of a woman so close to him.
