A Proper Violence is a gripping and intense crime drama that tells the story of a group of criminals who are brought together by fate in their search for quick money. The film takes place in a small town, where criminal activity is on the rise and everyone seems to be involved in some kind of illegal dealings. At the center of the story is Tom (played by Randy Spence), a small-time crook who is always looking for his next score. Tom teams up with his girlfriend Lucy (played by Alexis Schneider) and two low-level hoods, Dorian (played by Justin Morck) and Danny (played by Shawn Mahoney), in order to pull off a lucrative heist.

As the group sets out to rob a jewelry store, tensions rise and tempers flare, leading to a violent confrontation that leaves two people dead. Tom and Lucy barely manage to escape with the loot, but the aftermath of their crime sets off a chain of events that will change all of their lives forever.

The film is a slow burn, taking its time to introduce the characters and build up the tension before erupting in a burst of violence. Director Chris Faulisi does an excellent job creating a sense of dread and paranoia, with the looming threat of violence constantly hanging over the characters.

The performances are strong across the board, with Randy Spence standing out as the lead. Spence brings a sense of desperation and recklessness to his portrayal of Tom, making it clear that he's a man who is willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.

Justin Morck and Shawn Mahoney also shine in their roles as Dorian and Danny, respectively. Both actors bring a sense of danger to their characters, with Dorian's unpredictable nature and Danny's quiet intensity making them stand out in a crowded field of supporting players.

The film's visual style is dark and moody, with lots of shadows and low-key lighting adding to the film's somber tone. The score, composed by James I. Davis, is also noteworthy, with its haunting melodies and brooding atmosphere perfectly complementing the on-screen action.

Overall, A Proper Violence is a gritty and effective crime thriller that delivers the goods when it comes to suspense, tension, and violence. Faulisi and his talented cast and crew have crafted a solid piece of indie cinema that should satisfy fans of the genre.
