In this movie, a journalist, from Chicago takes a leave of absence from his job and decides to help his uncle suffering from alzheimer's disease. He never imagines he will rediscover a childhood friend and find love. He suffers from acute memory loss. He doesn't realize the bond that he and his friend once shared. She continues to stick by his side, believing that he will one day soon recover his memory. He has to decide between in a life in the city and a successful career or family, love, and friendship. His future hangs on this one tough decision.
