Abduction: The Megumi Yokota Story is a documentary about the kidnapping of a young Japanese girl. In 1977, Megumi Yokota disappeared without any clues as to where she went. Her parents spent over twenty years searching during her absence. Determined to find out what happened to their daughter, her parents never give up, eventually unraveling an internationally horrific experience that, surprisingly, end up in North Korea. The documentary was released in 2006 by award-winning producer Jane Campion.
