This is the story of the power of a community coming together for the common good. When family values meet societal problems, great things can happen. Lori Townsend is a teacher living in Kansas. When the local Kai River Bridge is on the brink of collapse, she knows that the community must band together to raise enough money to save it. Thousands of jobs rely on the bridge and its demolition would be disastrous. Love, passion, and paying it forward are all major themes in this touching film. Near the end of the film, a ruse occurs in which the mayor is involved.
