Aliens Of The Deep is documentary movie. It is directed by James Cameron and Steven Quale. They work with NASA to explore Mid-Ocean Ridges, which are chains of mountains that are under water. These mountains are in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Some of Earth's strange and unusual life lives there. They also work with marine biologists to explore ten hydrothermal vents that are in the oceans. Each vent has an interesting ecosystem. They see giant tube worms, lots of blind white crabs, and large amounts of shrimp that can live in heated water. Unlike most organisms, these organisms are unique and do not need sunlight to survive.

Aliens Of The Deep implies that if there were life forms on other planets, that is what they would be like, that an alien may be something like the creature they found in those vent ecosystems. This documentary shows the ocean, what technology they used to get that deep, and what aliens could possibly be like.
