David Monroe, a 56-year-old University Recruiter has lost his passion for life. Set in 2016, we find David under threat of losing his job, and with his fiancé breaking up with him. David is reminded of a similar experience in 1981. In a chance meeting, a young singer rekindles David's passion for music and causes introspection about his life.
