This documentary directed by John N. Damoose details the history, traditions and significance of Arlington National Cemetery. Located in rolling countryside, just outside of Washington D.C., the site became a revered burial ground for thousands of United States military personnel after the land was confiscated from the plantation once owned by Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Several people in Arlington: In Eternal Vigil discuss the significance of the national cemetery to the USA, including Senator Robert Dole. The former Republican candidate for the Presidency was wounded during his service in the United States military. General Richard B. Meyers also appears.
