Bad Acid is a 2015 psychedelic horror film directed by David Chaudoir and produced by Forbidden Films. The movie follows the story of two people, Mary and Peter, who decide to take a trip together and experiment with some bad acid that they buy from a shady drug dealer. Things begin to unravel when they realize that the drug is much more potent than they anticipated, and the trip turns into a dark and surreal nightmare from which it seems there is no escape.

Tiffany Haynes plays Mary, a young woman who is looking for something to break the monotony of her life. Mary's character is impulsive and curious, and her decision to take the acid with Peter is a desperate attempt to add some excitement to her mundane existence. Unfortunately for Mary, the trip takes her on a journey that she could never have imagined, and the lines between reality and hallucination start to blur.

Tristan Beint plays Peter, a man who is struggling with his own demons. Peter is dealing with a recent break-up and has turned to drugs as a way of coping with his pain. He convinces Mary to take the acid with him, but their trip quickly turns into a nightmare. Peter's character is haunted by his past, and the acid takes him on a journey through his own personal hell.

Madeleine Bowyer plays a character simply known as "The Girl." The Girl is a mysterious figure who appears throughout the movie in various forms. She seems to be the embodiment of the acid and represents the dark side of the drug. The Girl is a haunting and eerie presence, and her appearances add to the sense of unease and dread that permeates the movie.

Bad Acid is a disturbing and surreal film that explores the effects of drugs on the human mind. The movie is shot in a hyper-stylized way that mirrors the distorted reality that the characters are experiencing. The visuals are frequently psychedelic, and there is a sense of disorientation that keeps the viewer off balance.

The film is also deeply psychological and explores the characters' innermost fears and desires. The acid acts as a sort of catalyst, unlocking their hidden traumas and repressed demons. The journey that Mary and Peter go on is a dark and twisted one, and it seems there is no escape from the horrors that they have unleashed.

One of the strengths of the movie is the performances of the three main actors. Tiffany Haynes, Tristan Beint, and Madeleine Bowyer all deliver powerful and nuanced performances, bringing depth and complexity to their characters. Haynes, in particular, is a standout, imbuing Mary with a sense of vulnerability and desperation that makes her journey all the more tragic.

Overall, Bad Acid is a highly stylized and disturbing film that explores the effects of drugs on the human mind. It is a challenging and unsettling viewing experience that is not for everyone, but for those who are willing to take the journey, it is a haunting and memorable one. If you are a fan of trippy horror films that delve into the psyche of its characters, then Bad Acid is definitely worth checking out.
