Who's killing in Woodsboro? Every teenager in town is hooked on horror movies and people are dropping like flies. Someone has created a maniac known as Ghostface and kills in a unconventional manner and he's targeting Sidney Prescott. Sidney's mother was raped and killed a year before, is there a connection? This comedy-ish slasher asks horror trivia questions before hacking his victims to pieces. The teenagers talk openly about how horror movies are predictable and know exactly how they will turn out, yet it doesn't help them stay alive. They also talk about the rules of surviving a horror movie. The cast is full of known actors for the time including David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Drew Barrymore, and Courtney Cox.
