The USS Missouri and The Texas are still among some of the greatest battleships ever built. Commissioned in 1914, The Texas served in both world wars, and is the oldest battleship in the fleet. The USS Missouri served with great distinction, and was the ship upon which the Japanese surrender took place at the end of WWII. This is the story of these two famous battleships.
