This slapstick Italian comedy was directed by Carlo Verdone, who also wrote and starred in the film as various different characters aside from the lead. The plot follows the wacky misadventures of Furio, a chatty by the numbers clerk, Pasquale, a ladies man and finally, the slow but kind hearted Mimmo. The film follows how these wildly different characters finally collide during a big election day in Italy.

The film has a running time of 115 minutes and was generally well recieved upon it's release. In the years following it's public dispersion it has gained a cult following and is now considered, by many critics, to be a bonifide "Italian Classic."
