This dark romantic thriller was directed by Yaky Yosha and released in 1996. The film is a modern retelling of the famed bible story of Jacob, Leah and Rachel. The story begins with newlyweds, Jake and Rachel whose relationship seems almost perfect by any standards. Jake has a bright future as an athelete and Rachel comes from a wealthy family that has taken care of all her simple wants.
Their marital tranquility is slowly erroded by the presence of Rachel's sister, Leah who shows up upon hearing that Rachel has become pregnant. Leah and Jake instantly form a friendly relationship but Rachel quickly begins to suspect that the bond they have formed may have gone beyond mere friendship.
