"Bollywood Steps" is an inspiring documentary featuring the story of American-born Indian boys learning to connect with their heritage through Bollywood-style dance, and their bond with Bollywood-trained choreographer Yogen Bhagat. Though Yogen enjoyed a thriving dance career in his native India, after he marries an Indian-American, he relocates to Southern California. He restarts his career, first by teaching dance, and then by creating his own professional dance troupe.

"Bollywood Steps" spends a season with Yogen, his young students, and their families. From the rehearsal hall to the stage, to home life, to the colorful "Holi" celebration, this documentary explores the meaning of cultural identity - and family - in 21st century America.

"I just want them to remember that they are Indian in their culture - and Indian in their heart" (Yogen Bhagat)

"Bollywood Steps" was created by Rich Samuels, an Emmy(tm) award-winning documentarian based in Los Angeles.
