Ned Crane and Marjorie Malloy embark on a robbery that provides them with a large amount of equipment for the mining operations of Round Nugget Hill. The couple are attempting to show Malloy, a local businessman that the mines can be made safe and profitable with just a small amount of assistance. A cave-in provides the perfect chance for Ned to show Malloy how he can safely manage the mines, but Malloy quickly gives up on his promise to give Ned the job of bringing the mines into the modern era.
