This is a documentary movie about the year the Cubs almost made it to the World Series. In 2003, the Cubs were in a position to get into the World Series. They were in the sixth game of the NLCS when a foul ball was caught by a fan in the stands. If it had been caught by one of the ball players, the other team would have had an out. This is the story of the Chicago fans’ reaction to the incident.

Steve Bartman, a long time Cubs fan, was the man who caught the ball. He received death threats over this incident of mass anger and hysteria. This movie looks at his life during this time.
