Cities of the World: Krakow is a tourism/traveling special that was released in 2009. Krakow is the second largest city in Poland. When visiting the city, tourists may want to visit the Wawel Castle. The Wawel Castle was built in the 12th century and was the home of Polish royalty. Now the castle is an art museum and has a display of Italian Renaissance paintings. Another great city attraction is Wieliczka Salt Mine. The salt mine is south of the city and when going inside the mine shaft, tourists can see the different shades of the rock salt rather than the typical white color.
