Toronto that lays on the shore of Lake Ontario is the biggest city in Canada, and also the capital of the area called Great Lakes.
From its sights C.N. Tower is distinguished and stands out. From the look-out tower we can look over the 4.4 million inhabitant metropolis.
Toronto is the citadel of modern architecture. Its main interest is the Downtown Walkway that is also called the P.A.T.H.. It has 11 kilometres walking tunnel and 1200 shops. The St.Lawrence Market Hall, the University, the old Town Hall and the Casa Loma (Spanish for Hill House) - the most beautiful medieval castle forgery of North America - show us the history of the city.
The shore, the harbour and the small islands with their plenty of sights and catering establishments have been developed into tourist's paradise.
