Close to You is a Filipino based film that was produced in 2006 featuring John Lloyd Cruz as the starring actor. The film was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and was produced under the Star Cinema. The plot of the film features Manuel(John Lloyd Cruz) and Marian (Bea Alonzo), who have been good friends since the time they were little children. They are very close friends such that they know very well the secrets of each other. However, Manuel has a feeling burning inside his heart that is trying to push him to declaring his love to Marian. This is something that he has failed to manage for the last 16 years they have been so close together.
