America faces grim times. The financial collapse we are experiencing endangers homes, families, livelihoods and rattles the peace of mind of millions. It is perhaps an indication of the relative social irrelevance of much contemporary art that few people are asking what role film, music, dance and the plastic arts can play during this uncertain period. But ex-principal dancer of the Golden Gate Ballet Company, San Francisco, Nick Thorson (played by ex-world class principal dancer, Russell Murphy) has had an idea for many years and he feels now is the time to put it into action.
