The final part of the Colonel Wolodyjowski trilogy sees the invasion of Poland by the Ottoman Empire drawing to a close. Colonel Wolodyjowski is one of the few remaining soldiers attempting to save Poland from invasion, he must raise an army from local people and bandits to face the invading army. A series of huge and realistic battle scenes are found throughout the movie and are known as some of the greatest ever placed on film.
