Color Me Blood Red is a comedy horror film that was released in 1965. The film follows an unpopular artist who is considered to be a joke, and is mocked by a critic for using color poorly. The artist decides to produce a series of painting using his own blood in order to critique the critic. However, the artist soon finds that he does not have enough blood to finish his paintings. The artist decides that the only way for him to get enough blood is to kidnap, torture, and kill beautiful women. Color Me Blood Red was written and directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis.
